About us

Engineers who read the business case before the backlog

Shift Theory exists because too many technology projects are decided at the wrong altitude — a platform chosen before anyone has modelled how the company actually earns money. We work in the other direction.

Who we are

Three disciplines, one team

We are a full-cycle internet solutions company based in Limassol, working with clients across Europe. Our people come from three backgrounds that rarely sit in the same room, and that combination is the whole point.

  • Business modelling. Before a line of code is written we map revenue, cost and the decisions your team makes every week. It is remarkable how often that alone removes half the proposed scope.
  • Systems engineering. Interfaces, failure modes, data ownership and the boundaries between them. We design systems to be understood by whoever inherits them, including us in three years.
  • IT infrastructure. Networks, servers, storage and the operational routine around them. Whether it runs in a public cloud or a rack you own, the standard of care is the same.

Because these three sit together, nobody hands you a solution and walks away from its running costs. The person modelling the business is in the same conversation as the person who will be paged at three in the morning.

Two or three viable options with their costs, risks and exit routes side by side. You choose with the trade-offs in front of you rather than accepting a single recommendation.

Deliver

Short increments, automated checks and releases you can watch happen. Nothing reaches production without a rehearsed way back out of it.

Monitoring, cost review and a quarterly conversation about what to change next. Systems that are looked after continuously never need another rescue project.
